Our "first" supper

Thank you all for prayers for safe travel.  Our trip had its share of detours, but we all made it safe and  sound, and shared a quick meal before heading off to bed.  The trip was highlighted by a selfless act by our driver Oscar.  After traveling for the better part of 15 hours and our hotel just an hour's drive away, Oscar stopped the van in the middle of nowhere to help another vehicle that was stopped on the side of a busy road at night.  He asked permission by us if it was okay, and if we were being honest we reluctantly nodded approval.  With tonight's devotional focused on the story of Mary and Martha, and knowing when to serve and when to sit at the feet of Jesus was discussed, we were reminded how Oscar demonstrated when it is necessary to serve perfectly.
